NERiMA Sign to Sonic Envy Records and Cerberus Management

Sonic Envy Music and Cerberus Management is truly excited to announce the signing of Indie-Punk-Pop band, NERiMA to their respective Label and Management Rosters.

Label head Brian Hetherman, first heard about NERiMA almost two years ago and followed their progress, building a relationship with the band and then finally offering them a deal with Sonic Envy and Cerberus Management once all parties had a clear and common vision.

“As a long time A&R man, when I see and feel the magic of a band like this, its undeniable, then even more important to have the band and you on the same page with the same vision” says Hetherman, “The fact that they are also incredibly good people, as well as talented is an added bonus”

Sonic Envy is the Alternative and Rock label which is the sister company to Curve Music (celebrating 22 years in 2023), Sonic Envy was set up in 2010, for the labels Rock, Pop and Alternative acts, and the roster includes Lowest Of the Low, When In Rome and Men Without Hats.

Staying true to both punk-rock roots and a love for the modern alternative scene, young Toronto-based NERiMA explores a boundless mix of genres in their sentimental music. With influences ranging from rock bands like The Smashing Pumpkins and Paramore to Weezer and Wolf Alice. NERiMA are a culturally rich and diverse band for todays world, made up of Alexi, Vee, and AJ — three musicians mixing their diverse tastes into one distinctive sound. Despite their young ages, the band has a wealth of experience under their collective belts and have been playing together since they were kids.

“It’s been a dream working with Brian Hetherman and Sonic Envy! We’re all really excited to take our career to the next level, and we know we’ve found the right people to do this with”. added Alexi from NERiMA

With the vast musical backgrounds of each member, lifelong musical interests drive NERiMA’s, passion, inspiration from their favourite artists, and admiration of music’s place in society. While most members have long histories with their love of music, all three continue to explore its growing place in their life through their dedication to this band and its sound.
